Blueprint's August 2026 gut-health article says Bryan Johnson takes 1 Essential Microbiome capsule every morning. A delayed-release postbiotic with pasteurized Akkermansia and tributyrin.
Reasons to Choose It
- One capsule a day with food, and the bottle holds 30 servings, so it is a monthly purchase.
- Postbiotics deliver compounds directly instead of relying on live bacteria surviving digestion, which is Blueprint's case for adding one to a fiber-rich diet.
- Blueprint pairs it with fiber from Metabolic Protein, Raw Macadamias, and Blueberry Nut Mix and the probiotic strain in Essential Capsules.
Worth Knowing
- The source for his use is Blueprint's own blog, written by the company that sells the capsule.
- Research on Akkermansia and tributyrin in people is still early. This is not medical advice; ask a clinician if you have a gut condition.
