Blueprint Lab Results: Lead, Cadmium, Arsenic and Mercury per Serving in 13 Products (2026)

Blueprint posts a lab report for each product it sells. We read the current report for 13 of them and turned each heavy metal result into micrograms per serving, so you can compare products side by side and against California's Prop 65 levels. Scope: This summarizes Blueprint's own posted certificates of analysis, one lot per product. We have not tested anything ourselves. It is not medical advice.

What the sources show

How we built the table

Blueprint links a certificate of analysis for each product from its Certificates of Analysis page. For each product we took the report posted there in October 2026 and read the lead, cadmium, arsenic and mercury results. Most reports give results in ppm, which is micrograms per gram. We multiplied by the serving size on the report or on Blueprint's product page to get micrograms per serving. The collagen, Essential Capsules, Omega-3 and Essential Microbiome reports already give results per serving or per capsule, so we used those numbers as printed. Each report covers one lot. A tub or bag you buy today may come from a different batch.

What stands out

Longevity Protein, Chocolate: 1.5 mcg of lead and 5.3 mcg of cadmium per 52.7 g serving, both above California's Prop 65 daily levels of 0.5 mcg lead and 4.1 mcg cadmium. It is the largest serving in the table, so small ppm values add up.Cocoa Powder: 4.9 mcg of cadmium per 6 g scoop, also above the Prop 65 cadmium level. Blueprint settled a Prop 65 notice over this cocoa in 2025.Super Shrooms: 0.64 mcg of lead and 1.2 mcg of mercury per 6 g scoop. Its posted report is the oldest here, from January 2025.Everything else is under 0.5 mcg of lead and well under 4.1 mcg of cadmium per serving. Longevity Mix had lead, cadmium and mercury below the lab's reporting limit.

How to read the Prop 65 marks

Prop 65 safe harbor levels decide when a product sold in California needs a warning label. For reproductive harm they are 0.5 mcg a day for lead and 4.1 mcg a day for cadmium. They are not a measure of harm from one product, and they apply to your whole day's intake, so servings from several products add up. We only mark lead and cadmium. The reports measure total arsenic and total mercury, while the Prop 65 levels for those metals cover inorganic arsenic and methylmercury, so comparing them would overstate the amounts.

Limits of these reports

Creatine: the report says its heavy metal results are based on the highest values from the raw creatine used, not a test of the finished powder.Essential Microbiome: the report gives cadmium and arsenic per capsule and lists lead and mercury as not detected.Super Shrooms: the report on Blueprint's page was issued in March 2025, so it may not reflect current lots.Not included: the olive oil and protein bars, whose posted reports had no metal results we could read; the raw macadamia nuts and vegan meal replacement, which we did not match to a posted report; and skincare.
