What the sources show

What his protocol asks for

The exercise section of his protocol calls for about 6 hours a week: 3 strength sessions and 3 cardio sessions. For cardio it sets 150 minutes of Zone 2, where you can still hold a conversation, and 75 minutes of vigorous work such as HIIT. It also asks for flexibility, balance and mobility work, and says the first rule is to avoid injury. It does not name any machines or brands.

Cardio: the rower and the elliptical

Two cardio machines show up in his videos and posts: Concept2 RowErg ($1,199.99 on Amazon when we checked in October 2026): an air-resistance rower with a PM5 monitor. It appears in his workout video, and he has posted about HIIT on a rower.Life Fitness E1 ($2,989.00): a home elliptical with contact heart rate sensors. It appears in his gym tour, and he has posted about doing 4x4 HIIT intervals on an elliptical. Both are low-impact, which fits his rule about avoiding injury. Either one can carry both the Zone 2 and the HIIT minutes.

Strength: benches and bodyweight

His workout video uses simple gear rather than a full rack: Valor Fitness Roman Chair ($289.00): an adjustable hyperextension bench for back extensions, glutes, hamstrings and core.FLYBIRD adjustable bench ($149.98) and Finer Form flat bench ($139.99): weight benches that fold for storage.Lebert EQualizer ($89.95): free-standing parallel bars for dips, inverted rows and push-ups. That covers the 3 weekly strength sessions with dumbbells or bodyweight.

Mobility

For the mobility part of his protocol, his workout video uses a slant board for calf stretches and incline squats. The Slant Board Guy Pro ($135.97) is a wooden board rated to 1,000 lb.

What the sources do not show

His 2026 protocol sets the weekly targets but names no equipment, so none of these products is confirmed in his current gym. The videos show what he used when they were filmed. None of the sources compares machines head to head.
