Bryan Johnson's protocol recommends temperature-controlled beds such as Eight Sleep, which isn't sold on Amazon. A water-cooled mattress pad for one side of the bed, set from 60 to 115°F.
Reasons to Choose It
- It cools with water through a pad, the same basic method as the Eight Sleep cover he names.
- One pad per side lets two people set different temperatures, as Eight Sleep's dual zones do; a couple needs two.
- Its 60-115°F range covers the 71-73°F bed temperatures Eight Sleep lists for him.
Worth Knowing
- The Cube is an older Sleepme model without Eight Sleep's sleep tracking or automatic changes through the night.
- Water units need refilling and cleaning, and the control box makes some noise beside the bed.
- Ratings are mixed at 4.0 stars; check the return window.

Common Questions
Is the Chilipad the same as Eight Sleep?
No. Both circulate temperature-controlled water under you, but Eight Sleep's Pod adds sleep tracking and automatic temperature changes through the night. Eight Sleep sells the Pod on its own site, not on Amazon.
Why is Chilipad Cube on ProtocolPicks?
Because a public Bryan Johnson or Blueprint source names or shows it, and those sources are linked on this page. Commissions don't decide what we list, and the listing is based on those sources, not on a hands-on review or an endorsement.
Where can I buy Chilipad Cube?
