Bryan Johnson's Olive Oil: How Much Snake Oil He Has a Day (2026)

By ProtocolPicksPublished

How much olive oil Bryan Johnson's protocol lists, where Blueprint Snake Oil fits in, what Blueprint publishes about it, and how to buy olive oil the same way for less. Scope: This summarizes one person's published protocol and a manufacturer's product page. It is not medical or nutrition advice.

What the sources show

Four tablespoons spread across the day

His January 2026 protocol lists 1 Tbsp (15 mL) of extra virgin olive oil in four places: Pre-workout breakfast: 1 Tbsp of extra virgin olive oil.Post-workout snack: 1 Tbsp of extra virgin olive oil.Super Veggie: 1 Tbsp drizzled on after prep.Final meal: 1 Tbsp of Blueprint Snake Oil. That is 4 Tbsp, or about 60 mL, a day. His April 2026 morning routine still lists 1 Tbsp of extra virgin olive oil before his workout.

What Blueprint lists for Snake Oil

Blueprint describes Snake Oil as extra virgin olive oil from in-season green olives harvested in Portugal. Its page lists 400 mg/kg of polyphenols (its FAQ gives 425 mg/kg total biophenols by HPLC), 0.21% free fatty acids, and third-party testing for purity and heavy metals with published results. Blueprint also says 15% of Bryan's daily calories come from Snake Oil, and suggests 1-3 Tbsp a day on its own or with food.

How long a bottle lasts

A 750 mL bottle holds about 50 one-tablespoon servings. At 1 Tbsp a day that is about seven weeks. At the full 4 Tbsp a day in his protocol it is under two weeks. Blueprint listed a single bottle at $39 ($37.05 with autoship) when we checked in October 2026. The Amazon listing we link is a 2-pack of 750 mL bottles, so compare price per bottle.

Only one of the four is named Snake Oil

The protocol names Blueprint Snake Oil only for the final meal. The other three tablespoons are listed simply as extra virgin olive oil. If you want the habit without the price, a fresh extra virgin olive oil with a printed harvest date and published polyphenol figures follows the same idea. Blueprint prints the harvest month on its own page for the same reason: polyphenols fall as oil ages.

What the sources do not show

These sources show what Bryan Johnson's protocol lists and what Blueprint claims for the oil it sells. They do not compare Snake Oil with other high-polyphenol oils, and they do not show the health effect of 4 Tbsp a day for anyone else.
